Farm Town or Fake Town?

farm-town.jpgThe funny thing in the internet is that you can easily impersonate someone which is far from who you really are. Usually people acts and talks beyond what they are and do, a simple example is the age, an elementary students sign up facebook and lie about her age because obviously she wanted to register officially. For internet people information, facebook required a minimum age of 13 years old to officially registered.

This impersonation thing really excites me since 99.4% (not official, just my role of thumb) are building up online fake personality while .6% telling the “whole real thing”. If you wanted to discover the 99.4%, try to visit dating sites (lol) and if my role of thumb really disturb your mind and you think is not true, comment me and I explain it to you why i derive such data.

The trend in faking profiles is normally uplifting one’s personality, say if the site ask you about your age and if you are 12 and below you should say 18 or something and instead married, some say single (hmmm, I know whose doing that). Obscure yet clear, but I have to tell you that this facebook application is really against the so called “Fake Trend”.

Have you heard about FARM TOWN? It’s the hip and hot now in Facebook.com, its a game application where everyone enjoyed wasting time. I can say that this is “against the flow in Fake Trend” WHY? if the principle in Fake Trend is to uplift one’s personality well, this ain’t.

First things first, a Farm Laborer (I mean literally) can’t afford to waste his time in playing FARM TOWN or if we apply in Philippines setting, I think (using my 99.4% principle) a Farm Laborer can’t afford a PC with internet connection.

Secondly, FARM TOWN is not uplifting one’s personality but instead dragging down social status. Again, WHY? If you consider yourself as a Web Developer or Internet Marketer and you empersonate a FARMER, thats another funny side of the story.

Lastly, I’m a level five in FARM TOWN and its a very low level status but while I’m asking for work to level up I don’t see any sweat and hard work expressions, I think Farm Town is not a Farmer activity at all. If you have some data to enlighten my so called “Obscure Views” please comment me.

Post Disclaimer: I have nothing against Farm Laborer (Land Lord? definitely), if you think this post is to degrade Farmers then you are absolutely wrong. I tell you, I am a pro-Land Reform Program.

To enjoy wasting your time in FARM TOWN, i did some googling around and found this google sheet to help your pricing needs.
